Meet EarthBox
EarthBox is virtually identical to Caja and offers a few extra accessories including caster wheels for easy movement and the staking system for tall and climbing plants. Caja is manufactured in the USA by Novelty Manufacturing.
Our containers are super durable and built to last. They are frost-proof and UV-stabilized to ensure years of productive gardening.
Aeration Screen and Fill Tube
The aeration screen sits inside the container and acts like a false-bottom to separate the water reservoir from the soil / growing media that sits on top of the screen. The soil will touch the reservoir in the two capillary corners. Ensure your potting soil is moist (dry soil can more easily fall through the screen), and pack the soil into the 2 corners to ensure the water can be wicked up from the reservoir into the main body of the container.
Using a hose or watering can, water directly through the fill tube into the reservoir. Stop when you see water coming out the overflow hole.
The mulch cover is reversible with a black and a white side. It keeps moisture in the soil, keeps weeds out, and minimizes soil borne pathogens from splashing onto your plants.
Most people should use the white side. Cut a hole or “X” in the cover where you will be planting your seeds or plants.

Simple Watering
Simply water through the tube with a watering can or garden hose. Stop when you water coming out the overflow hole near the bottom.
